Emily grew up with Christopher Robin as a second home - her mother was a previous teacher and Director of Christopher Robin for over 25 years. Emily has her BA in Business Administration and Master's degree in Teaching, with additional endorsements in Reading and ELL. Previous to joining the preschool sphere, she taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Seattle Public Schools for 8 years.
Outside of school, Emily enjoys chasing after her two young kids, crafting and finding adventures to go on in and around the Seattle area.
Teacher JoAnne is one of our teachers working with the youngest group in the Green Room at our preschool. JoAnne has a BA in Communications and has worked both in the corporate world and now with preschool kids for the last 6 years at Christopher Robin. She loves seeing the social and emotional growth in the children throughout their time together.
Outside of work, JoAnne likes to spend time with family and friends, get outside with her dog, find new places to eat, and play New York Times word games.
Teacher Lauren went to school for Early Childhood Education and has taught for over 30 years, all at Christopher Robin.
When Lauren is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Lauren enjoys camping, mountain biking and paddleboarding.
Teacher Jane teaches our oldest group in our Red Room. Jane has a degree in Elementary Education and has taught for over 20 years, most of which were at Christopher Robin.

We are located at 3534 NE 95th Street, at the intersection of the Wedgwood and Meadowbrook neighborhoods.
We utilize the ground floor level and outdoor space of One Life Community Church. Though we have had a wonderful, decades-long relationship with this location, we are not affiliated with the church.
We have sole access during the school day to three individual classrooms, adjoining bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining area, playground, garden area, office space, and a large room for our music time and indoor recess needs.
Christopher Robin was established in 1964 here in northeast Seattle, and has seen hundreds of preschool students walk through our doors. Over the years, ownership has transferred, a couple building moves occurred, and the name has been tweaked. However, at its core, the school has remained the same - a loving place where professional educators care for and nurture the growth of the whole child.
We are an inclusive school and heavily value diversity in our community and world. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, nationality, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, socioeconomic status, or disability. We commit to upholding a welcoming and inclusive environment and working to ensure a sense of belonging, respect, and kindness for all.
