We value creating connections amongst members of our school. We hold various whole school events throughout the year to gather, celebrate our students’ growth, build community, and get to know other students and families in your child’s classroom. Here are a few of our yearly events:

Orientation Picnic
Families and students can come see their new classroom. Teachers will give a brief presentation overviewing the school year and curriculum, and answering any questions. Afterwards, families can gather on the playground for an all school picnic and get to know each other.

Fall Open House
Have your student show you through the school and join their friends for a playdate on the playground.

Halloween Sing Along & Parade
Students may dress in costume, as we invite families in to watch us perform some spooky songs! After the joint music circle, we will have a parade around the school in our costumes.

Winter Sing Along & Lunch Picnic
We will perform some winter-themed songs for families, and then will have an indoor picnic lunch (with a short movie!)

Pancakes & Pajama Party
Join us for a Valentine’s themed breakfast at dropoff.

Spring Art Show
Student art will be on display for you to see at the school. We will also have a family art project set up that you can partake in with your child!

End of Year Celebration
We gather on the last day of school at Matthew’s Beach to celebrate the end of our year. We’ll have snacks, popsicles, and plenty of playtime! Parents are welcome to drop off, or join us for the day.
